Afghan Tribal Arts specializes in Nomadic and tribal jewelry from Afghanistan and the region. The different tribal groups make jewelry from various metals, semi-precious stones and glass or wooden beads. We carry both antique and new jewelry of Pashtun, Turkman, Kazak, and Hazara origin. The new pieces help support artisans both in Afghanistan and refugees in the Peshawar area. These are available in quantity in many different designs, especially non-silver and semi-precious stones.Pashtun and Turkman jewelry have their own pages. Click on links at the bottom of this page. |

Beaded jewelry includes necklace and bracelets made of strands of lapis lazuli, carnelian, jade and other stones. We also have chokers, discs and other ornaments that use seed beads in bright, tightly sewn designs, similar to Native American beadwork. |
